Colloidal Silver Spray 10 ppm
What is Colloidal Silver?
Silver is a naturally occurring metal found in the earth's crust and has been known for centuries to have powerful germ-killing properties. Colloidal Silver is the term used to describe tiny nanoparticles of silver suspended in liquid, often distilled water.
What does Stabilized mean?
Stabilized Colloidal Silver means that the silver colloids will not drop out of suspension and will remain in the colloidal state. Our product has been through rigorous stability testing, including exposure to 14 days of heat inside an oven, prolonged exposure to fluorescent light, freezing, thawing, etc., to ensure that it is shelf-stable.
How is it produced?
Most people are familiar with the DIY method of producing "colloidal" silver by inserting silver metal electrodes in distilled water and generating a current. This method leads to silver colloids quickly dropping out of suspension, leaving you with an ionic solution.
What is the difference between Colloidal and Ionic?
Colloidal Silver is eliminated naturally. It is safe for daily use and will not build up in the body. Conversely, Ionic Silver is metabolized by the body. This means that silver compounds will accumulate and build up in the body, which can lead to a condition called Argyria.
What is Argyria?
Argyria can result in prolonged exposure to Ionic (not Colloidal) Silver. Ionic Silver enters the bloodstream as it breaks down. Instead of being discarded by the body as Colloidal Silver would, it gets deposited in the skin and other tissues where it continues to build up. When exposed to light, these silver compounds cause the skin to turn blue or blue-grey - a condition known as Argyria. This condition can affect other organs as well, including the eyes. Argyria cannot be reversed!
Why is it yellow?
Because it's true Colloidal Silver! It should never appear clear like water, because silver nanoparticles absorb light, causing the liquid to have a yellow color.
What is it used for?
Colloidal Silver is a non-toxic antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antimicrobial remedy. It can naturally combat bacteria, fungi, yeast, and viruses, and is a popular topical treatment for hot spots, wounds, insect bites, allergies, and other skin conditions.
